Judgment Day in The Quran

The khutba was about the Description of Judgment Day in The Quran. On that Day:

  • They will hear the migthy blast in reality, they will come out from their graves (Qaaf 42)
  • There is no doubt that the Judgment Day is bound to come; there is also no doubt that Allah will raise the dead from their graves (Hajj:7)
  • Allah shall roll up the skies like a scroll is rolled up for books. (Ambiya:104)
  • They have not estimated the power and might of Allah as is due to Him(Zumar:67)
  • Truly! Allah is Able to do all things (Nahl:77)
  • To people that Day is far, but to Allah, it is near (Ma’arij 6-7)
  • The Day of grief and regrets (Maryam:39)
  • Do you think Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do, but Allah gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror; they will be hastening forward with necks outstretched, their heads raised up towards the sky, their gaze not returning towards them and their hearts empty from thinking because of extreme fear (Ibrahim:42-43)
  • The hearts will choke the throats, and people can neither return their hearts to their chests nor can they throw them out; there will be no friend and no one to intercede for the wrongdoers (Ghafir:18)
  • It will make faces look horrible (Insaan:10)
  • Children’s hair will turn grey (Muzammil:17)
  • Those burdened with evil deeds will despair (TaHa:111)
  • Every nursing mother will not think of her baby, every pregnant female will miscarry, you will think people are drunk when they are not, so severe will be Allah’s torment (Hajj:1-2)
  • The wrongdoer will bite his own hand and say, ‘If only I had taken the same path as the Messenger!’ (Furqan:27)
  • Those who have earned Janna will be in a better place (Furqan:24)

May Allah wake awaken our hearts to the warnings of Allah.
